These elbow length mitts were loosely inspired by Ally Sheedy’s character in “The Breakfast Club”. Allison was the shy one in the group who hid away under her coat. She was also the one I related to the most when the movie was released in 1985.

Things have changed a lot since that time, but the idea that we are more than any stereotype and that we are more than the sum of our parts still resonates with me.

Wear these indoors or out, any time you want extra warmth.

Both gloves are knit the same, so you can pull them out and put them on without worrying about which is right or left.

Provisional cast on is entirely optional.
