Inspired by the most photographed man in Portland. John Seward Johnson II’s bronze sculpture “Allow Me,” commonly known as Umbrella Man sits on Pioneer Courtyard Square, inviting visitors to stop, say hello, take a picture, and occasionally, when the winter chill sets in, adorn him with a handknit scarf and hat.

(2) skeins Black Trillium Fibre Studio’s Sublime, one each in contrasting colors. Colorways shown are Little Mouse, Pretty In, and For Yarn’s Sake’s exclusive colorway, Bibbidi.
