Raised diagonal bands of knitted stitches add movement and texture to the Alloy Mitts. These mitts are worked in the round from the cuff up and use simple thumb shaping to create the perfect fit. Add optional silver foil to the diagonal stitches to give the mitts a bit of shine.

Finished Size 7 ¾ (9)“ hand circumference and 6 (7)” long. Mitts shown measure 9”.

Yarn Juniper Moon Farm Fourteen (90% Merino wool, 10% cashmere; 147 yd 135 m/ 1 ¾ oz 50 g): #02 Dreamscape, 1 ball (see Notes). Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.

Needles Sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); waste yarn for thumb; tapestry needle.
