This pattern is a design collaborations with Gayann Walker from Fibremates Youtube Channel.

These cuff-down socks feature a beautiful Scandinavian style colourwork motif around the ankle and a smaller motif around the foot. The pattern is written for 2 sizes and features a heel flap with french turn and ribbon toe shaping.

Sizing and fit
2 sizes: EU38 (40) / US7 (9)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Sock circumference: 19 (21) cm / 7.5 (8.25)”
Foot length (adjustable): 23.5 (25) cm / 9.25 (10)”

Yarn
4 ply / fingering weight sock yarn:
240 (280) m / 265 (308) yds of Main colour (MC).
65 (80) m / 71 (88) yds of Contrast colour (CC).
Sample is knit with Bombed Yarns Dynamite Sock (75% SW Merino, 25% nylon, 425m per 100g) in Regina (MC) and Cantankerous Canary (CC).

Needles
100cm / 40” long circular needle (for magic loop method) OR your preferred needles for working small circumferences in the round.
Size A: 2.25mm / US1, or size required to get gauge.
Size B: 2.75mm / US2, or size required to get gauge.

Notions
Removeable stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Gauge
34 sts and 40 rnds – 10cm / 4” on 2.75mm needles in colourwork and 2.25mm needles in stockinette stitch in the round. Measured from relaxed fabric after blocking.

Design notes
Worked top down with a corrugated rib cuff and a colourwork motif around the ankle. From there the sock is worked in stockinette stitch to the heel.
