DONATIONS
Nearly every month a portion of Snickerdoodle Knits pattern sales are donated to a charity. The charity featured for this pattern launch was NC Coalition to End Homelessness to help unhoused folks in North Carolina.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The mitts begin with a beautiful herringbone cuff, inspired by the herring fish (unless you opt for the standard ribbed cuff option). From there, the majority of the pattern is worked in stockinette stitch to represent long stretches of sandy beaches. The top of the mitt features a simple and engaging wave motif, which is finished with a lovely I-cord bind off representing the sandy dune barriers.
