Beyer Strickschrift 70976 advertised in Beyer Band 361 (1937) and its reprint Kunststricken: Grosse und kleine Decken. The pattern was not actually in those books, but could be requested from the publisher.

Materials suggested in the pattern:
Medium-weight art-silk, and bone needles size 2½ for a size of approx. 140 x 180 cm/55 x 71”. (Old German needle size).

Orchidee is a later modification of this pattern.
