Always Teatime
by Sue Perez
This pattern is
available for free.
Designed to celebrate National Crochet Month, Always Teatime is made from fun little 2-round, join-as-you-go blocks that create a pretty twisted-lattice effect. Each block uses invisible joins and a special colour joining technique for virtually undetectable starting and ending of rounds.
Use any combination of yarns you like (yarns should be a similar weight to each other). Worked in sport/Dk weight yarns, blocks will be approx. 1½“ square.
I made a square mat, but blocks can be used for many kinds of projects: scarves, cowls, table runners, or as borders for other projects.
See my blog for complete instructions with phototutorial.
Thanks for viewing, and happy National Crochet Month! :)
