This was designed as a gift for lovely Amanda, who prefers simple classic elegance. I wanted to rush right through it, so I created a design that looks MUCH MORE COMPLICATED than it actually is. This is super-easy to knit, very quick, and has a lovely texture.

I love the way the Silk Day Dream gives the extra strength to the super-soft Cashmere 5, but i was totally surprised by the incredible texture and very light shimmer it added in the combination.

The hat uses 1 skein of Cashmere 5 and about 100 yards of Silk Day Dream.
The cowl uses 2 skeins of Cashmere 5 and about 200 yards of Silk Day Dream.

Stitches used: Knit, purl, and SSK (decrease)
