You can see from the ombre color change how the sleeve was constructed first with short rows to "square off" then finished in the round down to the 3/4 length cuff

Amber Drop Sweater
Materials 1 (1, 2, 2) (3, 3) sks of Mohair Ombre 2 Ply (shown in color 781)
Needles Size 6 US or size to obtain gauge
Size 36 (40, 44, 48) 52, 54)” bust
A boat-neck top down sweater with drop shoulders, very simple (the whole pattern is just 3 pages), that is knitted with the amazingly soft and silky Mohair Ombre 2 Ply (shown in brand new color 781).
The unusual feature is that in order to work the sleeves, you will be using short rows (German Short Rows highly recommended), to square off the drop shoulder “V” and work in the round.
I used an ombre color, but would totally look fabulous in any of our solid shades as well.
