Happy knitting! xo Annie

I wanted to design a classic, comfortable, go to cardigan that could be dressed up or down for whatever occasion. I love the way this yarn knits up, and the unique twisted ribbing pattern adds the perfect touch to this timeless piece.

Yarn
YOTH Little Brother Fingering weight yarn, 1180 (1320, 1460, 1620) 1780 yards, 435 yards/100g per skein, approximately 3 (3, 4, 4) 5 skeins.
Materials
US Size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord.
US Size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles, minimum 30” cord.
Optional US Sizes 3 & 5 DPN’s for sleeves (or you can use the Magic Loop Method with circular needles).
Finished Measurements
XS (S, M, L) XL 36 (40, 44, 48) 52”
This sweater is meant to be worn with 4-6” positive ease, to achieve this simply choose the size based on your intended ease for the finished measurement.
Gauge
19 sts x 29 rows = 4 x 4 “ in stockinette stitch with larger needles
NOTE: If you are planning on having afterthought pockets, you can use your pocket as your gauge swatch!
Notes
This comfortable cardigan in worked in pieces from the bottom up, then seamed at the shoulders and sides. From there, stitches are picked up along the armhole opening and the sleeves are worked in the round down to the cuff. Stitches are picked up and worked for a collar, with the option of buttons and an afterthought pocket!
