The best late summer days feel like three in one—slow, easy, productive, yet full of moments where time slips away. You swap your cozy couch for a coffee walk with an audiobook, finally tackle those lingering errands under the sunny sky, and by afternoon, join the park crowd chasing the sun until shadows take over.

Your Amersfoort Scarf, fresh off the needles, is with you all day. It’s there in the morning for your walk, keeps you warm but light as you run errands, becomes your pillow while you soak up the sun, and wraps you in warmth when the evening chill arrives. These sweet days won’t last forever, but when they do, you’ll have the perfect scarf to savor them.

The Amersfoort Scarf is knit in Origin by Walcot Yarns. This colorway, Juniper, isn’t just any green. It’s a deep, earthy shade that feels like it belongs in the wild—like it was plucked from the mossy edges of a forest! When you wear it, you bring along the comfort and calm of walking through nature - brushing leaves with your shoulder, birds playing tag above you and a gentle, sweet breeze.

SIZES
* One Size: 88” / 224cm long by 8.25” / 21cm wide.

CONSTRUCTION
The Amersfoort Scarf is knit flat, beginning with a classic long-tail cast-on. A chain selvedge edge lines each side of the scarf. The border is a Sister Wolf pattern that continues throughout the body alongside panels of lace. The scarf finished with another band of Sister Wolf for symmetry.

The pattern is designed in Walcot Yarns ‘Origin’ (50% merino and 50% Peruvian highland wool, 210 yds /191 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g) using 3 skeins in the colorway “Juniper”.
