AMETHYST GLOW SWEATER by Twinset & Purl

Amethyst Glow is a boxy sweater with a deep, circular, colour work yoke and fitted sleeves in mistake rib. The colour work also has texture which adds that little something extra! Amethyst Glow is a variety of Hellebore which inspired the gorgeous colours that Sophie from Botanical Yarn dyed for our collaboration.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)
47.5 (54.5, 61, 66.5, 71.5) inches/ 120.5 (138.5, 155, 169, 181.5) cm measured around upper body and top of arms.
We recommend this sweater be worn with 4 to 10 inches of positive ease. This range will accommodate several chest measurements within each size depending how much positive ease you prefer.

Yarn: Botanical Yarn Merino Sock 4ply (75% merino/25% nylon; 425 m (437 yds)/100g)
The original sample was knit in the following colourways:
MC: Cotelydon undulata CC1: Hellebores orientalis CC2: Alchemilla molis CC3: OOAK CC4: OOAK CC5: Dahlia dark spirit.
Note: the pattern has been modified to three contrast colours (CC1-CC3) since the original was knitted.
However, you could use as many colours as you wish!

Yarn Requirements: MC 1150 (1365, 1555, 1709, 1880) metres/1258 (1493, 1701, 1869, 2056) yards.
CC (total amount) 252 (265, 278, 292, 307) metres/276 (290, 304, 319, 336) yards.

Gauge: (for main body) 27 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm (4”) in stocking stitch on 3.00 mm (US2½) needles (or size needed to achieve gauge).

Needles: 2.75 mm (US2) for ribbing, 3.00 mm (US2½) for main body and 3.25 mm (US3) for colour work in 40 cm (16”), 80 cm (32”) length circular needles and in size 3.00 mm (US 2½) dpns or needles needed for working small circumferences.

Notions: 4 stitch markers (including one unique beginning of round marker), waste yarn or stitch holders and tapestry needle.
