Amir the lion – Amigurumi Lion Pattern

Amir the lion! Cute lion that dangles nicely when you hang it on your baby stroller, babygym, backpacker etc. With the flat legs and arms it dangles and gets the child’s attention. The pattern is straight forward and easy to follow.

Included in the pattern you will also find a description how to make a cat instead, with a bow tie.

You need to know the basic crochet skill for amigurumi, plus how to work in rounds and rows. Some examples of stitches; slip stitch, half double crochet, treble crochet.

Materials required/recommended:
– Yarn, I used cotton yarn 8/4. One ball of each colour is sufficient.
– Crochet hook 2.5 mm
– Fibrefill / toy stuffing
– 6 mm plastic safety eyes (or any desired size. You can also embroider the eyes if you wish.)
– Stitch markers, scissor and embroidery needle
