This pattern can be made using ANY yarn and hook size you wish. It is made based on size not stitch count.

It is simple so it is great for beginners but has enough detail to keep a more advanced crocheter interested!

Yarn type: ANY
Hook size: Whatever is recommended for your yarn + 1 size smaller for the band

Sizes: Baby, Toddler, Child & Adult

Materials used:
Yarn
recommended hook + 1 smaller
measuring tape
tapestry Needle

Abbreviations:
CH-chain
HDC-half double crochet
DC-double crochet
BLO-back loop
SC- single crochet
DC2tog-double crochet 2 together
SC2tog-single crochet 2 together

You can use as many or as few colors as you wish. This would be a great way to use up scrap yarn.
