Amrûn
Summer: Amrûn - meaning sunrise
This pattern is part of An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house book. The book is currently available as a print copy (with or without ebook) or as an ebook.
An Elven Reckoning - a year of knits from the last homely house is a collection of twelve beautiful garments and accessories inspired by the stories of Elves that inhabit Middle-Earth from J.R.R. Tolkien’s books.
In this book designer Sarah Alderson will take you on a journey through the six seasons that make up an elven reckoning.
The twelve beautiful patterns feature a wide range of design elements, from cables to stranded colourwork, slipped stitch patterns to lace. Sarah has created a pattern for every person (and Elf!).
As the dawn rises, this delicate top is perfect to wear on summer mornings.
The elegant lace sleeves and neck edge are knitted flat and then joined in the round to work the body, which is finished with a garter stitch sash.
