INTRO
- The hood is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch.
- First, a rectangle is knitted for the top of the head.
- Then, stitches are picked up and knitted along the sides of the rectangle, and the hood is worked back and forth, with increases.
- At the chin, the work is joined in the round.
- We will continue knitting in the round, shaping the shoulders with increases.
- Next, we will knit the back and front separately.
- Finally, an I-cord edging is worked around the face opening and the body.
GAUGE
Worked flat in stockinette stitch, with 4.00mm / US 6 needles, after blocking (hedl double):
18 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4″
MATERIALS
YARN: held double, I used My knitted closet - The Tweed Merino: 100% Merino Wool | 50 gr, 350 meters 383 yards.
3 balls, 118 grams, 826 meters 904 yards.
Shown in color: Light grey.
NEEDLES: 4.00mm US 6, 3.50mm US 4 with 60cm 24” cable.
You’ll also need one of the following options to pick up stitches from the head top and knit the first rounds of the sides:
Double-pointed needles, one for each side of the rectangle.
A cable of 80–100 cm 32”–40” to use the Magic Loop technique.
NOTIONS: Markers, tapestry needle, scissors, ruler or measuring tape.

INTRO
- La capucha se teje de desde arriba hacia abajo en punto liso, comenzando por un rectángulo para la parte de arriba de la capucha.
- Después levantamos puntos alrededor de ese rectángulo y tejemos en punto liso, en esta parte también haremos aumentos.
- A la altura de la barbilla, la capucha se comienza a tejer en circular.
- Continuamos dando forma a los hombros con aumentos.
- Tejemos por separado espalda y delantero.
- Por útlimo hacemos un borde en i-cord en el cuerpo y alrededor de la cabeza.
MUESTRA
Tejido en plano, en punto liso, con agujas de 4.00mm US 6, después de bloquear (a hebra doble):
18 puntos x 28 vueltas = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4″
MATERIALES
HILO: a hebra doble, he usado My knitted closet - The Tweed Merino: 100% Lana merino | 50 gr, 350 metros 383 yardas.

Además necesitarás, para levantar puntos de la parte de arriba de la capucha, y tejer las primeras vueltas después de levantar, una de las siguientes opciones:
Agujas de doble punta, una para cada lado del rectángulo.
Un cable de 80 o 100 cm 32” o 40” para tejer con la técnica Magic Loop.
EXTRAS: Marcadores, aguja lanera para coser y rematar cabos, metro o regla, tijeras.
