The Anchor pillow is a colourful way to spruce up your room! By creating tiny anchors to which you can adhere crochet too you can make a neat looking mesh of stitches, that’s still securely fastened to your pillow.

Two colourways are included in the pattern, as well as size adjustments. The pattern uses stitches suitable for beginners and crochet diagrams have been included. The pattern is written in US and NL terms.

Stitches that are used include (US):

  • slip stitch
  • chain
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet

For a 40 x 40cm pillow, you will need 5 skeins of Scheepjes Stone Washed for the grey base of the pillow, and an additional 6 (or 12) balls for the overlay crochet, depending on your preferred colourway. You don’t need the full length of the balls for the overlay. Instructions for altering the pillowcase size are included in the pattern.

The pillow you make following this pattern is yours, and you are free to sell it, as long as you credit Haak maar Raak as the original designer. Please do not reproduce the pattern itself in any way.
