Andiron Socks feature a handsome knit-purl texture and dimensional cables that you’ll knit and wear again and again. There are two pattern placement options — choose from cables along the sides of the sock, or cables down the center for a bold look. These socks are offered in five sizes, and are knit from the cuff down with a traditional heel flap and gusset. Semi solid yarns will allow the textured pattern to shine.

This pattern assumes knowledge of working in the round, basic cables, and basic sock construction. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.

Suggested Yarn: Knitted Wit Victory Sock, or other fingering weight yarn that knits to gauge
Green sample is shown in Knitted Wit Victory Sock, and showcases version A (cables along sides of sock).
Blue sample is shown in Collinette Jitterbug, and showcases version B (cables down center of sock).
