Angel Head for Two Needles
An easier to knit 2-needle alternative to the 4-needle angel head published in my book “Angels A Knitter’s Dozen”.
This pattern is not published in the book itself, but it is to be used in conjunction with the book.
In contrasting cotton yarn, crochet 11 chain for temporary cast on.
With white, pick up and knit 9 sts.
R1: RS: S1, k6, wrap & turn
R2: S1, p4, w&t
R3: S1, k4, k wrap and next st, k1
R4: S1, p6, p wrap and next st, p1
Repeat rows 1 to 4, 7 times.
Cut yarn 12” long.
Remove temp cast on and places sts on needle.
With tapestry needle, thread end through each stitch on slip stitch edge (one loop only). Pull end up tight and kitchener stitch the stitches together. Stuff before threading through remaining slip sitches.
