PATTERN STORY
The concept of this sweater is to give the knitter tools to make their own guernsey. It’s knit at a more approachable gauge, but has plenty of options to switch out different motifs. Traditional construction is used, from cast on, to gussets, to shoulder construction. The unisex sizing makes this a perfect fit for anybody.

SKILLS NEEDED
Increasing stitches, decreasing stitches, picking up stitches.

The pattern is appropriate for an intermediate knitter.

GARMENT CONSTRUCTION
The body is knit bottom up and seamed at the shoulders. The collar is then added. Sleeves are picked up from the arm hold and knit top down.
