Angwen
The Celtic word angwen means handsome. It seemed a good combination for this type of pattern and, hopefully, what people might think of the sweater. The collar is worked separately, with short rows for shaping, and attached. Cable sweaters like this one are often worked with drop shoulders. I have a soft spot for set-in sleeves, which are part of this design. The sweater is worked flat and seamed.
Stitch charts are included as well as a schematic.
