Hand Knitting Pattern: Hat, beret

Yarn weight: Fingering (14 wpi)
Suggested yarns: Manos del Uruguay Alegría, Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts Reinvent

This is the hat for both trend setter and classic wardrobes everywhere! Absolutely unisex, if animal print is your thing. The style is more of a military silhouette, rather than a tam. The colour chart is such that two handed colour-work technique would work great!
I’ve chosen to use sock yarn to produce a fine fabric that still stays thin even with two colours being stranded along. You will want a dark solid colour for the band and foreground (A); the background (B) can be a variegated or multi colour yarn, as long as there are no colours in it close to the colours used for (A). I chose a soft grey / peachy tan mix to get a more realistic animal colour.
