Anise Top is worked seamlessly from the top-down.

The lace pattern on this summer top carries over from my earlier Quince sweater design. It’s fascinating to see how the same motif takes on a new character when worked in winter and summer yarns.

Gauge / With 4 mm (US 6) needle:
22 sts and 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
27 sts and 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in 1x1 twisted rib after blocking.
Recommended ease: 0~10cm/0~4’’

Size:

My sample is in Size 1 with 10 cm/4” positive ease.

Gepard Garn, Hørsilke, 70% French Linen, 30% Tussah Silk, 50g/175m.

1925) m/ 766(957, 1148, 1340)(1531, 1722, 1914, 2105) yards.
(You may need more yardage when extending the length of body or sleeves)

Needles:
4 mm (US 6), 40 ~120 cm circular needle for the body and sleeves .
3.5mm (US 4), for the neckline. (DPNs or preferred needles (Magic Loop) for small circumference knitting.)
