The doll-sized Anker’s Sweater will be fit an 18” American Girl Doll or equivalent.

Anker’s Sweater is worked top-down. The yoke consists of 4 segments of rib. The first part of the yoke is worked back and forth to create and opening in the back. Then the work is joined and knit seamlessly in the round on circular needles.

Materials: Fingering weight yarn, 1 small button

Suggested yarn: 35 g Merino from Knitting For Olive (50 g = 250 m/273 yards)

Suggested needles: 3 mm (US size 2.5) / 40 cm (16 inches) circular needles, 3 mm double pointed needles, crochet hook

Gauge: 28 sts x 38 rows in stockinette st on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches
