A pretty lace and cabled cowl, worked in the round from the bottom up. The lace design itself was used in our Annabella Dress, which featured in Knit Now Magazine, hence the name.

It’s easily memorized for those used to knitting lace and simple enough for the adventurous beginner who can work from either charts or written instructions.

Ideal to use up leftovers of luxury yarns to match to a favourite sweater, or choose a colour to contrast with your Winter coat. The merino silk was used for the sample and is super soft, the yarn contains a small amount of cashmere and you can feel the difference.

The York Merino knits to a similar tension, but would give a drapier version of the cowl as it is slightly finer being closer to a dk yarn.
