This cute little dress is perfect for parties, with its pretty lace edging and flattering A-line shape. Wear it with jeans, smart trousers, jeggings or a long skirt for a look that’ll take you from day to night with no effort.

The sample was made with Austermann Royal which is a merino, silk, cashmere blend and is stunningly soft and wears very well.
You could use sock yarn or similar. Just remember to swatch and wet block if you’re using a superwash yarn as this grows a bit during wear.

Sizing:
32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44 in chest. The design works well with 0-4 inches positive ease or 2-4 inches of negative ease if you prefer a neat fit around the bust and upper arms.

My version of the pattern had instructions for the raglans, neck shaping and finishing the raglan shaping in that order. To fit the allocated space in the magazine, this was edited to have the neck shaping after the raglan instructions and several knitters have found this confusing. I have revised the individual pattern back to the original order and added stitch counts after each set of decreases to make it easier to spot if you have made a mistake.
