Anne
I named this pattern after one of my favorite heroines — Anne of Green Gables. She was so upset about not being able to wear pink. Colours and shapes in this shawl would suit her, I believe ☺
This is the sister pattern for my Krisse blanket. The main difference — it is only a triangle. Here too, I have composed an entrelac pattern of rectangles and squares in 2 different sizes. The inspiration comes from Latvian textile tradition.
The shawl starts in one corner with one square. The size of the garment is adaptable as you work, depending on the yarn of your choice and intended recipient. It has lovely scalloped edging that complements shawl geometry.
This is fairly complex multi-shape entrelac shawl pattern. If you are new to this kind of pattern, I recommend starting with similar but easier Emma.
