Fiery red hair, a generous sprinkle of freckles and skin almost nearly the colour of a pale, blank canvas.
But provided with much scope for the imagination and a place to call home, the sprightly girl soon discovered that one can nearly always enjoy things if you make up your mind firmly that you will.
