Annelie slipover
Suitable for knitters from adventurous beginner to advanced, if you have a stash of single and part skeins of yarns, this is the pattern for you.
Sizes are available as follows: 31.5”/34”/36.5”/39”/41.5”/44”/47”/50”
80/86/93/99/105/112/120/127
Construction: the slipover is constructed bottom up. The rib and the body are worked in the round to armhole level. The back and front are then split and worked flat. The colour work is charted. The neckline and armholes are worked in matching rib.
In order to make the slipover, there are two options: if you want a straightforward knit, you can just use yarn which is the correct gauge. If you want to stashbust, you will create colour mixes using two strands of contrast colour held with one strand of main. Precise instructions are given how to do this, then you are free to play ! You will create one main mix for the body and two contrast mixes for the colour work panel.
The combination of the base yarn plus the fluff creates a garment which is very light but scores high on warmth and wearability.
The colour work is shown in a very simple graph format.
