Anniversary Lace
Happy Anniversary to you! To the LI Knitting Guild on their 30th anniversary, and also to my Ravelry group MAD Cap Fans which is celebrating its 7-year anniversary!
This shawl was designed for our 2019 CAL. It is a wide triangular shawl, starting at the back of the neck and widening outward as it is worked downward. The ratio of width to depth is approximately 3:1, and there is an option to add extra stitches to the starting chain to increase the width. There are two options for the lower border - a simple 3-row border, or a lacy 7-row border ripe with picots.
The shawl is fully charted, courtesy of Nemosuke, and edited by Ripplestitchkin. It was tested by 9 of my best testers:
tammysmom, telixen, rosenator, grayhare, ritamiller, JustAddGlitter, Cindi120, Blacky67, and meaperfect!
Thanks to all who helped in creating this pattern!
