Anniversary Socks
The Anniversary Socks were inspired by my own seventh wedding anniversary. What better year for a knitter than the year of wool!
In sizes for all the family, knit in West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply, these 2 colour socks are knit from the toe-up and use a heel flap and gusset construction for the heel.
A simple yet effective 3-cable design is used on the adult socks, with a more simple 1-cable version used for the smaller sizes. Sample is knit in the ‘Poppy Seed’ and ‘Owl’ colourways.
This pattern uses Judy’s Magic Cast On method. If this cast on is unfamiliar to you, I offer a free tutorial on my blog. You can find the link in the pattern or on my website www.theconsciousknitter.com
