Annoushka Sweater
ANNOUSHKA is the name of a woman who inspired me a lot in regards to knitting when I was a child. She was my mathematics teacher at school and a very talented and passionate knitter and crocheter. After an accident in her childhood, she only had two fingers on her right hand, but it didn’t stop her from being a brilliant knitter. As a sign of my admiration I named this sweater after her.
It is a seamless top-down sweater with an interesting cable and lace pattern on the round yoke while the rest is made in reverse stockinette (knitted on the wrong side).
The range of ease across all the sizes is 5-7 cm/2-3”. The picture shows size 4 with 6 cm/2.25” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
• I recommend swatching for the cable pattern and if you notice that it is tighter than the stockinette stitch, please use larger needles for working the cable section of your sweater.
• The sweater is worked in one piece top down. You start with neck band/ribbing, then work neck shaping with short rows and then continue working in the round. After the round yoke, you separate the sleeves and the body and continue working them separately. For reverse stockinette, you knit on the wrong side.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• basics (cast on/bind off, knit/purl, increase/decrease)
• short rows
• working in the round
• working from a chart
