Purse in three sizes using the Knitting-as-Warp technique where contrasting yarn is woven into finished knitting to create colorful patterns.

Level of Difficulty: Beginner

Sizes:

  • S is long enough for glasses pocket to hold a pair of clip-on shades
  • M is long enough for glasses pocket to hold a pair of small glasses
  • L is long enough for glasses pocket to hold a pair of large glasses

Materials:

  • Main Color (MC) in DK weight yarn: approx. 100 yds or 1 1.75oz / 50 ball in dark green
  • Contrast Colors (CC) varying lengths in DK to Aran weight yarn: light intensity (LCC) yellow-oranges; medium intensity (MCC) yellow-greens, yellow-oranges, and browns; dark intensity (DCC) yellow-greens, greens, and browns.
  • One 1” button in CC.
  • Optional: 5 (10, 10)“ of 44”-wide coordinating fabric for lining.
  • Optional: 4” medium weight interfacing for lining.
