A.N.T. KOOZIE

A New Take on a double layered reversible cowl. With its close fitting size it makes a snuggly “koozie” for your neck. The perfect partner for the A.N.T. Hat.

Because it’s reversible and infinite in it’s construction it can be worn with either side showing, or both sides showing or folded over if you prefer.

CONSTRUCTION
The Koozie is seamless and knit in the round in stockinette starting with a provisional cast on much like the A.N.T. Hat. Once Color A is complete, Color B is joined and continued for one row less than Color A. From here the provisional cast on is removed and the 2 round rows of live stitches are joined using the Kitchener Stich, a very meditative process and a beautiful way to finish this project. MYAK’S BABY YAK lace is one of the best yarns for Kitchener as it doesn’t felt or degrade as it’s woven through each of the 130 stitches. The yarn looks and feels just the same as it did through the first stitch. I have provided written instruction and video links in the pattern that are easy to follow. Feel free to substitute the 3 needle bind off method to join the live stitches, however it will leave a visible seam.

MODIFICATIONS (will require the use of yarn used from gauge swatch)
While this cowl is 20” in circumference and 7.75” in height, if you have gauge and would like more height you can add up to an additional 30 rounds with the same circumference (15 rounds in each color based on gauge) or if you need a wider circumference there is enough yarn to add up to 1” (9 sts based on gauge) or any combination with in those perimeters. This will max out yarn so be sure to weigh yarn at the start and as you knit the project. mYak’s yarn is cut to yardage stated on the label.

GAUGE
26 stitches x 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm
