“Antermoja” is part of the collection of patterns inspired by the “Monti Pallidi (Pale Mountains)”, a chain of mountains in the Italian Dolomites.
According to legend the small Antermoja lake at the feet of the Rosengarten group takes its name from a sàliga (a sort of forest fairy) who had to leave her beloved bard and was so heartbroken that she filled a rocky basin with her tears.

“Antermoja” is an oversized pullover knit in an unusual fashion. The stitches are mounted using a provisional cast-on and the stockinette section is knit horizontally. The back and front are separated to create the neckline and then joined again to shape the shoulders. At this point the lace on the first side and first sleeve is worked. The side stitches are not bound off, but woven together for a clean and elegant look. The stitches from the provisional cast-on are picked up and the lace for the second side and second sleeve is worked. The particularity of this sweater is that it can be worked in different lengths, depending on how you want to wear it.

“Antermoja” fa parte della collezione ispirata ai “Monti Pallidi”, la catena montuosa delle Dolomiti italiane.
La leggenda narra che il laghetto di Antermoja, ai piedi del gruppo del Catinaccio, prende il nome da una sàliga (una specie di fata dei boschi) che, dovendosi separare dal suo amato bardo, per il dolore riempì con le sue lacrime una conca rocciosa.

Lo schema “Antermoja” è un maglioncino oversized con una lavorazione particolare. Si incomincia avviando le maglie in modo provvisorio e si lavora orizzontalmente la parte a maglia rasata. Si separano il dietro e il davanti per creare la scollatura e quindi si riuniscono per formare la spalla. A questo punto si incomincia la lavorazione a pizzo del primo fianco e della prima manica. Le maglie del fianco non vengono chiuse, ma cucite a punto maglia per creare un effetto più pulito e raffinato. L’avvio provvisorio viene ripreso e il pizzo per il secondo fianco e per la seconda manica viene lavorato specularmente.
La particolarità del maglioncino è che è possibile realizzarlo in diverse lunghezze, a seconda del proprio modo di vestire.
