Antrim Lace Bookmark
In my travels I’ve had the good fortune to visit Northern Ireland where the hospitality knew no bounds and the countryside was as green as you could possibly imagine. Recently, I made a new friend from there who was kind enough to send me some of her yarn to use for new bookmarks. Using Northern Ireland as an inspiration, this pattern is based on the beautiful, hexagonal rock formations I saw at Giant’s Causeway along the Antrim Coast.
Suggestion for blocking: In place of blocking wires, small double-pointed or straight needles can be used along with a few pins.
This pattern is free, so if you enjoyed it, please consider making a donation to Global Knit, an organization that provides warm, hand knit and crocheted clothing to needy orphans around the globe. Thank you!
