Apana Bag
The bag that I have designed is an interpretation of the typical Wayúu bag, but I’ve adapted it to my style. The colour palette that I’ve used is more saturated and delicate.
I wanted to combine forms found in nature together with simpler geometric ones. From here came the fusion of the stripes and the leaves.

HOW TO FOLLOW THE WORK
To make this bag the most important thing
is to know how to work the colour changes
correctly. The whole bag is made using single
crochet through back loop.
The diameter of this bag is approximately 9
7/8”.
To make the bag smaller, work until row 36 and make 6 modules instead of 7.
Technique: Spiral tapestry.
Level: Intermediate
