About this Pattern
There is something very soothing about a simple stitch pattern worked in a gorgeous, solid coloured yarn. And when that stitch pattern is also completely reversible, even better! Instructions are provided for most weights of yarn, so feel free to do a little stash diving, or indulge in any beautiful fingering, sport, DK, worsted or chunky weight yarn that takes your fancy. Shown in Malabrigo Rios (worsted; top and bottom photos) and Malabrigo Mecha (chunky; middle photo).

Yarn/Yardage
Chunky: 260 yards (240 m). Worsted: 420 yards (380 m). DK: 450 yards (420 m). Sport: 585 yards (535 m). Fingering/sock: 660 yards (600 m). All yardages are approximate.

Gauge
Chunky: 13 sts with 6 mm needles (US 10). Worsted: 19 sts with 5 mm (US 8) needles. DK: 21 sts with 4.5 mm (US 7) needles. Sport: 23 sts with 4 mm (US 6) needles. Fingering/sock: 25 sts with 3.75 mm (US 5) needles. For all weights, gauge is measured in pattern.

Final Measurements
Final measurements after blocking = 8” x 66” (20 cm x 168 cm). Both length and width can easily be adjusted by adding/eliminating more repeats of the triangle pattern.

Difficulty
This pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner or intermediate knitter who is familiar with basic and twisted knit and purl stitches, and how to make a slipped stitch selvedge. Links to helpful video tutorials are provided in the pattern.

Pattern Notes:
This scarf is worked from the bottom-up and has a twisted rib at the top and bottom edges. A two stitch I-cord selvedge keep the sides neat and prevent rolling. The body of the scarf is worked in an easy-to-memorize and totally reversible repeating triangles pattern.
