Aphasia is so named because I am at a loss for words to describe this stunning, self-reflexive pattern. I was going for something hypnotic--an optical illusion of sorts. I got mania, I think! I love it. So much fun to knit, I actually knitted both of them! I will be working this into mitts and a hat, too, I believe. Of course, the knitter can make both socks the same and can change the colors to suit. Pattern includes Cat Bordhi’s Sweet Tomato Heel, allowing for the colorwork design to continue, uninterrupted, through the instep. also lends a perfect fit!

This goes down, henceforth, as one of my faves!
