Crochet Pattern – Apple Dan 

Apple Dan is a retro-inspired anthropomorphic apple with roots in the earliest days of animation when characters sang, danced, and had just the right amount of mischief.

With his fancy removable hat, bright yellow pants and suspenders, and classic black-and-white shoes, Apple Dan leans all the way into that old-school cartoon energy while still feeling fresh and modern. He’s bold, expressive, and built to stand out.

Materials:
• 50g size 3 DK yarn in Red
• 25g each size 3 DK yarn in White, Yellow
• 15g each size 3 DK yarn in Blue, Light Brown, Dark Brown, Green, Black
• Scrap amount of yarn in Pink
• 3.00 mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Fiber fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 x ½“ black buttons and 2 x ¼” buttons (for ages 3+ only)
• White acrylic paint

Notes:
• Apple Dan is worked in separate pieces and sewn together
• Worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up; do not join unless instructed
• Finished size: approximately 6 inches tall
• For children under 3, eyes must be embroidered (no buttons or safety eyes)
