The Apple Hood is worked seamlessly in one piece from the crown to the tips. It is worked flat, back and forth in garter stitch, and it features a lovely i-cord border.
It uses a clever twist of a classic sock technique to create an entirely seamless project- which is a total joy to knit!
The scallop shape of the borders is created by repeating a set of three distinct sections. First, you work a set of increases, then a second set of rows at the center of the scallop, and finally a set of decreases.
You can choose between two tip sizes: a smaller size that lets you wrap the tips once around your neck, and a larger size that lets you wrap them twice.
