This shawl, worked from the top down, is triangular in shape, with a slightly crescent edging. The body is worked in a stitch pattern which is repeated in the edging; it reminds me of small apples, or perhaps leaves. It has a center spine of two stitches which are knit through the back loops. There are no increases along the center line or the garter st border as all increases are incorporated into the stitch pattern.

​The shawl size is adjustable by making fewer or more repeats of the shawl body​ (see below); the edging size can’t be changed.

Sample was knit using 195g (975m) of ​Natural Fantasy ​Extrageelong (100% Merino, 500m/100g) on 2.5mm needles.

Finished size: 205cm х 95cm Rows 9-24 of shawl body chart worked 4 times total.
For this shawl I recommend pure wool with about 500-600m per 100g. Pattern has 156 rows (or 172, knitter’s choice), so the yardage needed would be 800m (or about 1000m).
