This pattern includes tailor-making instructions to enable knitters to make the garment according to their own measurements. Otherwise, the stitch counts provided are for size Small only.

Three hem options all tried and tested, are offered in this pattern: upside-down scallop/triangle hem (as shown on the model in photos 1-3 here), Straight hem without alternative lace border (shown in photo no.5 here), and Tubular Bind off (also working main lace pattern only).

Some experience in lace knitting is desirable but not necessary, as all lace components are worked straight with no shaping (increasing/decreasing) required.

Minimal crochet skills are required (single crochet & crab stitch) for border finishing on cuffs and hem.
