Additional information
Based on images of vintage Coats & Clark Red Heart Luster-Sheen, it appears that the yardage was not listed on the 2-oz. skeins manufactured in the 70s and 80s, only the weight. Assuming it is reasonably consistent with the specifications as it is currently manufactured, each skein would have been approximately 165-175 yards.

Back and front pieces are worked flat from the crotch up. The two bra sections are worked separately and attached to each other and the front with single crochet, then the sides and crotch are seamed. Single crochet is worked around the elastic at top and leg openings. Ties are made by slip-stitching along a chain.
