Aquae Tank
Aquae is a modern tank with stripes in two different aquatic tones. The back sports a subtle racerback and the high waist gives rise to an A-line shape that skims fluidly around the hips. Knit from the top down and mostly in one piece, Aquae requires no seaming and works up quickly with simple shaping. An increase chart helps you keep track of shaping when two sets are going on at the same time. Worn layered over a cotton tank or under a light cardigan, Aquae is an effortless piece for summer days and nights.
Technical Editing by Alison Green.
Aquae is available as a ready-to-make project on Kitterly.

P.S. The yarn for this piece was purchased during an amazing trip my husband, sister in-law, and I took to South Africa last summer. It is hand dyed in South Africa, and I purchased it from a very neat little shop in Stellenbosch on the penultimate day of our visit. The gorgeous aquatic tones of the yarn remind me of the ocean waters around the Cape, one of the many sights from that trip that I will never forget. And, happily, the same hand dyed yarn is available in the US, simply under a different label.
