Aquinnah Cliffs Shawlette is the second of the Vacation Knits - Vol 1: Summers In New England collection. There are very few places that can compare to the breathtaking splendor of the Aquinnah Cliffs located on Martha’s Vineyard.

This shawlette was inspired by the “beautiful clay cliffs and quiet natural serenity”. The Aquinnah Cliff Shawlette is luxury and quiet beauty packed into a small space, perfect for taking an evening stroll on the beach or to add a bit of color during the gray days of winter.

The shawl is worked from the top-down in garter stitch, increasing 1 stitch on each edge every row. The lace edge is knitted-on sideways with the live stitches of the garter stitch body.

FINISHED MEASUREMENT: About 50” wide and 12” deep (blocked)

Don’t play “yarn chicken” on the edging, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE or work in contrast color.
