Araba Fenice
“Araba Fenice” is the Italian name for the Phoenix, the mythological bird that is reborn from its ashes.
The Araba Fenice Scarf has an unusual construction: the top part is done as a triangular top-down shawl, but the work continues with short rows to give it the crescent shape.
The sample in the first picture has been knit with 498.7 yd – 456 m of sport weight superwash 100% merino wool (328.9yd - 300m on 3.53 oz - 100g) and needles size 3.75 mm - US size 5.
