Arakis, also known as Dune, was the most important planet in the Dune universe since Melange was found only in natural form on Arakis. These socks center on spice harvesting; the back of the cuff showcases the “pre-spice mass explosion” which creates a tab naturally with increases and decreases. The front of the sock has 2 spice harvester tracks which go down each side of the sock, with the lace cables in the center being the disturbed sand after harvesting. These shortie socks are worked top down with a heel flap and reinforced heel turn down to a mitten toe.
