Whiteowlcrochetco. Arbour Raglan Sweater
Arbour is the perfect worsted-weight sweater; using worsted yarn allows the sweater to work up quickly while the lacework decreases the overall weight of the sweater. This raglan sweater is worked in the round from the top down. With smaller needles, the collar is worked in 1x1 rib, then folded and joined using decrease stitches. Then, with larger needles, short rows are worked in the lace pattern to raise the back of the collar up the neck. Once these are completed, the raglan of the sweater is worked, continuing with the lace pattern. When the sweater reaches the required depth, the sleeves will be split and armpit stitches will be cast on. The body and sleeves of the sweater will continue in the lace pattern, both finishing in a 1x1 ribbed hem using the smaller set of needles. A tubular bind-off is used in this pattern, but you may bind off traditionally as well. Make sure to keep track of your gauge throughout the pattern!
