Arctic Nights
Arctic Nights is a super bulky cabled wrap, just wide enough to warm your shoulders without feeling like you’re being smothered under a heavy blanket. Perfect for northern fall and spring evenings, and “deep winter” nights in the south.
Arctic Nights has just a touch of lace (don’t you just love lace in huge yarn?!?!) at each end, and a series of small cables at each color change that make the colors appear to be woven together. It knits up in a few evenings or in a weekend Netflix binge.
Using two colors, it takes 2 skeins of Rasta or Caracol in the main color, and 1 skein in the contrast color. Or you can be wild and crazy and use three colors, oh my! Believe it or not (if you’re familiar with Malabrigo, I’m sure you’ll believe it), the two skeins I used of Rasta Boreal are from the same dye lot, but look very different.
ERROR: Row 8 of the 1st section and row 7 of the final section should read: k2tog, $k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, sl 1, k2tog, psso$ repeat between $$ to last 6 stitches, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k1
